Overview

This page allows you to manage the users in the system. Please note that the system uses roles to determine the different options that a user will have access to.

How to use this page

Once this page is opened the system will display a list of all of the users that exist in the system. Using this grid you'll be able to manage the users.

Adding a new user

To add a new user simply click on the "New User" button and enter the following information:

  • Name: The user's name.
  • Email: The user's email address.
  • Login: The user's login (this will default to the email address).
  • Password and password confirmation: The password that will be assigned to the user.
  • Importer: If the users belongs to an account that manages inventory, you should choose here the main customer that will own the product in the inventory.
  • Suggest Carrier: If this option is enabled the system will automatically suggest the carrier once the truck date is selected.
  • Require Carrier: Enabling this option will make the carrier as a required field in the "Add House" screen.
  • Role: Select one or more roles for the user.

Editing a user

To edit a user simply search for the user and click the "Edit" option under the "Actions" column.

Associating growers

A user can be linked to multiple growers. To assign or un-assign a grower from a user click under “Actions > Add Grower”. In this screen you can filter for any growers and click on the corresponding links to assign or un assign the growers from the user.

Associating consignees

A user can be linked to multiple consignees. To assign or un-assign a consignee from a user click under “Actions > Add Consignees”. In this screen you can filter for any consignees and click on the corresponding links to assign or un assign the consignees from the user.

Description of roles

User permissions are based on roles. Please keep in mind that each company can configure specific settings under each role but this list should serve as a general guideline.

Administrator

Full access to the system.

Grower

Access to AWB Shipping, Tracking, XML Integration and Inventory.

Super Customer

Access to AWB Shipping, Tracking and Inventory.

Importers

Access to AWB Shipping, Tracking, Truck Shipping and Inventory.

Warehouse Restricted

Read only access to AWB Shipping, Tracking and Inventory.

Grower Shipper

Access to AWB Shipping, Tracking, XML Integration and Inventory.

Cargo Agent

Access to AWB Shipping and XML Integration.

Customer

Access to AWB Shipping, Tracking and Inventory.

Warehouse

Access to AWB Shipping, Tracking and Inventory.

Tracking

Access to the tracking tab.

PQ

Access to Tracking and PQ Module.
